Roughly equal in size, these two vintage dutch door knobs from around the turn of the century are now sensuously smooth to the touch. Difficult to find, so I snap them up the moment I see them in antique or vintage shops,m whether I need them or not. I recently found eight – a miracle – and I used two onboard. The rest are for you. I have cleaned them, and you can choose to leave them naked, or oil them. I recommend cutting off the stem with a small hand saw, and screwing them on to wooden doors. In my Liverpool flat I used eight of them to add a little twist to a rather dull kitchen, and each one is unique. So worth the extra fitting effort.
